Science and atheism are different things.
There are many scientists that are theists and also scientists who are atheists.
It is not the responsibility of atheists to teach you about science.
If you want to learn about science, ask scientists.
There are things that science has no answers for.
The fact that an atheist cannot answer them is not a "gotcha".
"God did it" is not an adequate answer to anything.
Christianity and creationism are different things.
The major Christian denominations have no problem with evolutionary science.
Evolution is not atheistic.
The big bang is not a part of evolution.
It is not atheistic.
An early proponent of the big bang was a priest.
Theists welcomed it.
They said it gave God "something to do".
They thought that the older steady state theory was more atheistic

The origin of life is not part of evolution.
Evolution is the fact that the forms of already living things can change over generations.
Nobody, theist or atheist, says they have a full account of the origin of life.
Genesis says that the earth and the waters brought forth life.
But creationists will not believe it.
They do not have sufficient faith in their God to believe that he could create a world that could bring forth life.
Thank you for your attention.
Please take note of the above in the coming year.
