2024 Nobel Prize Awarded for the Discovery of Function for a Type of “Junk DNA”

Here's Casey Luskin of the long discredited "Design Institute" crowing about two "evolutionist" scientists, Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun, receiving a Nobel prize for the discovery of function in DNA that had not hitherto been known to have one, and trying to claim credit on behalf of their intelligent design scam for the achievement.

The abstract of Ambros and Ruvkun's paper, entitled "Recent Molecular Genetic Explorations of Caenorhabditis elegans MicroRNAs" contains the following text -

"As many of these microRNA sequences and the related processing machinery are conserved over nearly a billion years of animal phylogeny, the assignment of their functions via worm genetics may inform the functions of their orthologs in other animals, including humans."

Orthologs? What are orthologs? From Science Direct:Orthology -

"Orthologous genes have originated by speciation; they tend to retain the function of the original gene in the species of origin and, as a result, they tend to be conserved."
