This is one of the images the "Institute for Creation Research [sic]" has used showing a "scientist" inspecting a flask of piss.
YECs think the Flud happened around 4,000 years ago. They assert that no new genetic "information" has arisen since creation, and the hyper-evolution that took place among the survivors of the Flud was due to the pruning of the genomes of these super organisms, giving rise to the variety of organisms we have today.
That they have no evidence for this doesn't seem to worry them.

Now it should be easy to find DNA from that time and sequence it. Comparing it with modern DNA should confirm the idea of all variation being built in originally and lost to form different species.
I suggested this to the "Institute for Creation Research". After an exchange of emails, they finally admitted that they don't do any research! They just con money out of the terminally gullible.
If creationists really did have any confidence that their ideas are correct, they would be champing at the bit to prove it.
ICR don't do research. All they are interested in is trying to sell you their garbage. Here is an email exchange I had with them in 2009.

Subject: Question
Dear Sirs/Mesdames
I think it should be possible to find the remains of the original kinds that were either drowned in the Flood, or died shortly after being released from the Ark. After 4,000 years, there is a good chance that their DNA would still be fairly intact. Has anyone gone looking for the remains of any original kinds, with a view to sequencing their DNA and showing that it contains a superset of the DNA of their micro evolutionarily derived modern examples? It would demonstrate, beyond any shadow of a doubt, even to the atheists and evolutionists,
that Genesis is literally true.
Yours faithfully

Subject: Question
Dear Mr. Desborough,
Thank you for your inquiry about original kinds as evidence against evolution. Many living life forms are considered to have retained their original form, such as bats, ants, sharks, snakes, other reptiles, etc. Evolutionists know well that these and other life forms have not changed in millions of evolutionary years. In fact, species thought to have gone extinct are still being found and are now called “living fossils,”including vertebrates (mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, bony fish) and invertebrates (insects, crustaceans, mollusks), not to mention plant groups. Thus, scientific facts that disqualify evolution – including those ICR has documented – continue to dissuade many (including Christians) from embracing evolution.

Hello Bruce, and thank you. So, nobody has thought of sequencing the DNA of 4,000 year old remains. I think it should be done, because, if you would allow me to play devil's advocate, evolutionists will say that evolutionary change is not mandatory, and although some creatures will appear not to have changed, they may have changed in many subtle ways, and what about the ones that have changed? I think DNA analysis will clear this up. It would show that there has been a loss of information in all creatures, whatever their appearance. Perhaps you could put this forward to your colleagues in the research institute?
Thanking you again
