Facebook group admins and moderators, please see the note at the foot of this page.

This is an important book, both as evidence for evolution and to answer those who say evolution is atheistic. The author, Graeme Finlay, is a world-renowned expert and researcher in, among other things, endogenous retroviruses and their role in cancers, giving pointers to the development of cancer therapy.

Graeme is not an atheist. He happens to be a Christian, and a preacher.

Here is the Amazon blurb on the book.

"Controversy over human evolution remains widespread. However, the human genome project and genetic sequencing of many other species have provided myriad precise and unambiguous genetic markers that establish our evolutionary relationships with other mammals. Human Evolution: Genes, Genealogies and Phylogenies identifies and explains these identifiable, rare and complex markers including endogenous retroviruses, genome-modifying transposable elements, gene-disabling mutations, segmental duplications and gene-enabling mutations. The new genetic tools also provide fascinating insights into when and how many features of human biology arose: from aspects of placental structure, vitamin C dependence and trichromatic vision, to tendencies to gout, cardiovascular disease and cancer. Bringing together a decade's worth of research and tying it together to provide an overwhelming argument for the mammalian ancestry of the human species, the book will be of interest to professional scientists and students in both the biological and biomedical sciences."

The book is a little expensive, but if it is too much, you can ask for a loan from your local library. It is also a bit technical. If you want a more accessible way to learn about this, you can go to my "ERV FAQ", which is linked to at the top of all my pages, and contact me via comments on Facebook or on the blog. I offer a free education in this subject, so if you are an evolution-refuser, don't pass up the opportunity, and learn about this. It will save you wasting any more time on attacking mainstream science and medical research, and promoting creationism.

To Facebook group admins and moderators, this is NOT a promotion. I gain nothing from my blog and Facebook comments, and I have no connection with the author. But it is an important book. Please let my OP stand.
